Welcome to the website
My name is Mateusz Wiśniewski and I am pleased to welcome you to my website. I have been collecting bottle caps since March 2005, and this website gives me the chance to present my collection to you as well.
Trading
Trading is a very important source of new caps for my collection. If you are interested in trading, I invite you to take a look at my duplicates.
Thank you
The collection would not be so large without the commitment of my family and friends, whom I would like to thank very much here.
Thank you for remembering my hobby on your trips, both the small ones (even to the local shop) and the bigger ones. The collection keeps growing and nothing suggests that this will change!

About me
My adventure with bottle caps began in 2005, thanks to a friend who showed me his collection. Back then, like many others, I simply put caps into a box without paying attention to any details. Time passed, my friends lost interest in the hobby and I remained the only cap collector in the area. That was when I told my family about my hobby, and the collection started to grow with rarer designs.
In October 2006 I accidentally came across the website of a collector and noticed a link to the Polish Bottle Cap Collectors Forum. Thanks to it I started trading over the Internet with many collectors, both from Poland and from abroad.
Soon after registering on the Forum, on 1 December 2006, I created my first website (what did it look like? Take a look at the archive). In the following years I improved my website so that, besides presenting the collection, it would be as helpful as possible in cataloguing it. In 2010, together with Tomasz Stefaniak, we created the Catalogue of Polish caps without signatures, based on the catalogue by Paweł Kamieniecki. Since 2014 I have also been responsible for the technical care of the main catalogue, i.e. the Catalogue of Polish caps with signatures.
